hey! my name is margeaux. i'm a new dog trainer in the OKC metro area. if your dog's behavior is getting in the way of your life (or sanity), that's where i come in. excessive barking, jumping, destruction, and separation anxiety are all issues i can help you work through using a mix of basic obedience training and behavior-focused problem solving. training doesn't have to be complicated or strict, it can be a rewarding and enriching bonding experience for both of you.

i offer affordable, personalized training sessions to work with you and your dog's needs. each course includes 10 private, one-hour training sessions, held once a week. sessions take place in your home or at a location of your choice and can be scheduled flexibly to fit your routine. if you're ready to get closer with your dog but aren't sure where to begin, start by scheduling a free consult.

level one: puppy

for dogs under one year. this is not officially an AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy course but will be strongly based on it. covers basic obedience including sit, down, come, look, heel, walking on a leash, and wait/stay. additionally, it covers common puppy problems like potty training, separation anxiety, excessive barking, digging, and jumping. it will also cover the basics for different types of training tools that you should know about, and the basic necessities you should either understand or have for your dog.

level two: beginner

for dogs with some or no training. if you've taken a puppy class, this will build off of what you and your dog already know and work on strengthening your skills. if you didn't take a puppy class, this course will take you from the ground up.

level three: novice

only for dogs who have learned all the core skills listed in my beginner course. the final goal for this course will be longer and farther stays, farther recalls, better heeling on leash, more attention, off leash obedience, and no food lures.

please note: no matter the age or obedience level of your dog, if they are showing signs of extreme and unnatural fear or aggression i can happily offer you a free consult but may ultimately recommend that you seek an experienced and licensed trainer with a formal education in animal behaviors.
